What we do?

UniCredit in Poland belongs to one of the largest financial groups in Europe, serving over 20 million Clients, including one million businesses. We are building a new banking model that combines the speed and appeal of a fintech with the strength and stability of a universal bank. We draw on 150 years of experience and the unique expertise of our teams, acting as the Group’s pan-European innovation hub.

We are creating ultra-fast and transparent banking with an “all-in-one” application and new opportunities for all Clients - individual, business, and corporate. We provide full omnichannel service thanks to a network of flagship branches in key Polish cities and our Support Center.

Our greatest value is our People - a Team of creative experts who thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment. We focus on collaboration, engagement, and achieving ambitious goals.

We are looking for a FX Products Owner ready to join our adventure, share our ambition and help shape the future of digital banking.

What you will be doing?

  • Accountability: Act as the ultimate owner accountable for the platform's P&L, client adoption, and market competitiveness.

  • Product Roadmap: Define the long-term e-FX product roadmap to drive volume, increase client monetization, and optimize internal cost-per-trade metrics.

  • Liquidity & Market-Making: Collaborate with liquidity providers and manage internal market-making logic.

  • Client Experience: Partner with Corporate FX Sales teams to understand client needs, onboard clients, and design intuitive, low-friction user journeys.

  • Business Logic & Risk: Define business logic for credit-checking mechanisms, real-time margin/collateral management, automated auto-hedging (A-Book/B-Book internalizing strategies), and circuit breakers during high-market volatility.

  • BaaS Cooperation: Cooperate with the BaaS team in onboarding partners for FX products and drive the strategy for BaaS client connectivity via APIs.

  • Technical Workflows: Oversee the business logic for automated algorithmic quoting and smart order routing (SOR) systems.

  • Infrastructure Optimization: Collaborate with technology infrastructure teams to optimize the hardware and software footprint, ensuring ultra-low latency execution and high-throughput messaging.

  • System Architecture: Architect seamless workflows between the in-house trading platform and remaining systems for down-stream processing, booking, clearing, and settlement.

  • Data Analytics: Define requirements for big-data pipelines that ingest tick-by-tick market data to evaluate platform performance, fill ratios, rejection rates, and market impact analysis.

  • Agile Delivery: Translate complex capital markets logic into highly granular, technical user stories and acceptance criteria. Act as the ultimate prioritizer of the engineering team's sprints using tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate platform performance, technical debt, and financial ROI to C-level executives and other stakeholders.

Skills you should have

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly within a large bank, FX broker, or major electronic communication network (ECN) as a Product Owner, Head of e-FX, or Senior Business Analyst.

  • Domain Expertise: Expert-level understanding of FX market structure, liquidity pooling, and product lifecycles across Spot, Forwards, and FX Swaps.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Proven experience navigating institutional regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, FX code of conduct) and managing the associated transaction reporting and compliance infrastructure.

  • Technical Bridge: Ability to "speak the language" of quantitative developers, network engineers, and data scientists to effectively bridge the gap between business intent and technical architecture.
