What we do?
What you will be doing?
You will act as the main point of contact between the Bank and law enforcement agencies (police, public prosecutor's office, courts, secret services) in Poland and abroad, managing the lawful flow of information in criminal proceedings conducted by these entities, and you will cooperate with other Bank units to combat financial and non-financial crimes.
Key responsibilities:
Management of official procedural correspondence: preparing, providing and sending
responses to inquiries from law enforcement agencies and courtsVerification of legal authority to provide information: analysis of the legal basis for inquiries
received to ensure full compliance of the data provided with the law and banking secrecyManagement of financial coercive measures: placing and removing blocks on bank accounts
in accordance with the instructions of state authoritiesInitiating criminal proceedings: Preparing and sending notifications of suspected offences
Coordination and analysis of the case portfolio: Keeping a register of proceedings to ensure
transparency and substantive control over pending cases.Representing the Bank before law enforcement authorities as an institutional witness
Teamwork: Working with the Financial Crime Prevention and Regulatory Claims
Enforcement teams to build a secure banking environment
Cooperation with other Bank units: Obtaining and aggregating key and consistent data from
other departments necessary for law enforcement authorities
Skills you should have
- At least 1 year of experience within similar role
- Knowledge of regulations concerning exemptions from banking secrecy
- Knowledge of banking processes and procedures
- Knowledge of online fraud schemes
- Polish - min C1, English - min. B2 level, additional French or German will be an advantage
- Ability to prepare official notifications to law enforcement agencies and other documentation
- Desirable qualities: trustworthiness, decisiveness, inquisitiveness, independence,
responsibility
