What you will be doing?

Do you have  a deep knowledge of structured finance solutions, in combination with a strong network with investment banks, capital advisors, (non-bank) lenders throughout Europe? Do you enjoy structuring innovative financial solutions? Then we have the perfect role for you: structuring our innovative funding and/or financing solutions and promoting them to companies throughout Europe. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Business development: promote our funding and embedded lending solutions throughout Europe. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, (non-bank) lenders, capital advisors, lending associations, VC/PE throughout Europe  and provide customized financial solutions to meet their needs.

  • Lending project assessment: assess deal feasibility and business case. Assess companies’ performance and creditworthiness, financial health and market position.

  • Proposal Preparation: prepare dedicated offering together with credit risk team and other teams involved (such as legal and finance) to structure transactions and mitigate risks. Handle applications together with relevant teams from submission through closing.

  • Liaise and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including C-level, legal, credit risk and risk control, compliance and operations to make the deal happen.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry and regulatory developments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. 



Skills you should have

  • Solid financial expertise, skills in risk analysis and financial modelling, ability to structure complex deals (+ €75M exposure).

  • Knowledge of various loan products and credit facilities, including specialized lending and structured finance .

  • Strong network in Europe with (non-bank) lenders, capital advisors, VC/PE, big corporates looking for  innovative lending solutions.

  • Sales and negotiation skills: The ability to effectively negotiate deal terms and close +€5M deals. 

  • Knowledge of European lending market and industries’ needs: A deep understanding of market trends and the client's specific business sector is crucial for providing valuable and relevant advice.

  • Regulatory compliance and fraud prevention.

  • 15+ years of solid experience in corporate lending, structured finance or related fields.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in an international matrix organisation,  with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize requests effectively in a high demand and agile environment.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of French, Polish, German, Italian, Spanish, or any other European language is a plus. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary to build strong client relationships and negotiate agreements. Ability to present complex information clearly.
